OUR STORY.

A circular revolution born in Tunisia.

ABOUT US

Another PlastiK was born from frustration and a refusal to look away. The plastic crisis is not just what washes up on shores. It is choking our streets. Littering our forests. Scarring our countryside. It is what seeps into groundwater, accumulates in the fish we eat, and compounds with every generation we ignore it. Tunisia's waste system was not built for circularity. It was built for convenience. Bury it. Burn it. Forget it.
We saw the gap between what brands claim and what they can prove. So we built furniture that does not hide its past—QR-coded pieces that trace every step, from certified waste collection to guaranteed take-back. Not promises. Not marketing. Just data.
Beautiful design. Radical accountability. Zero greenwashing.

OUR MISSION

Another PlastiK exists because the circular economy needed more than good intentions. Our mission is clear yet ambitious: to prove that circular furniture can be premium, transparent, and truly sustainable without compromise.
We transform plastic waste into bold, traceable furniture that refuses shortcuts. By pioneering verifiable circularity through QR-coded product passports, advancing material research, and building transparent supply chains, we create pieces for spaces and people ready to challenge conventional sustainability—turning materials destined for disposal into investments in circularity.

OUR VISION

We envision a Mediterranean where transparency is the baseline, not a premium feature where every piece of furniture tells its verified story.
By 2030, our furniture becomes the vehicle for this transformation. Through our products, we advance material research, pioneer recycling techniques, and build transparent supply chains that set industry standards. Through continuous innovation and collaboration, we are building an ecosystem where circularity is not an alternative — it is the standard.
Each piece we create shifts consciousness — proving plastic can be valued, circularity can be verified, and Tunisia can lead. Starting locally, scaling regionally, proving globally that waste can become worth.

Asma Chafter Founder & CEO, Another PlastiK

Our story began with a simple observation that changed everything. Plastic was no longer just a waste problem. It had become embedded in our ecosystems, our cities, our water, and our food chain. Across the Mediterranean, and especially in my home country, Tunisia, plastic is everywhere, yet treated as invisible.
My background spans engineering, business management, and environmental science. I spent years leading teams and managing complex projects before realigning my career with environmental impact—working on ecosystems from West African mangroves to alpine and Mediterranean landscapes, from geospatial modeling at UNEP/GRID to ISO environmental management at Richemont and teaching mangroves ecology. One conviction emerged clearly: sustainability cannot rely on good intentions alone. It must be measurable, traceable, and designed into the system.
Walking Tunisia’s beaches crystallized the issue. With recycling rates critically low and systems built for convenience rather than circularity, I saw a crisis demanding more than promises. Impact needed proof. Materials needed accountability.
That question became Another PlastiK.
At Another PlastiK, we transform plastic waste into traceable, design-led furniture. Each piece carries a verified story through QR-coded product passports—connecting certified waste collection, material sourcing, carbon data, and circular guarantees. Environmental science, engineering precision, and operational rigor shape every step.
Another PlastiK is more than furniture. It is a commitment to a new standard—where beauty, durability, and transparency coexist.
Welcome to verified circularity.
